2010-03-01: lid v2.1.0 released
lid v2.1.0 covers two more languages, Russian and Ukrainian, and a set of related transliterations. Additionally processing speed on large inputs has been improved in combination with an increased memory efficiency.
2009-12-07: lid available for FreeBSD 7 and 8
Due to popular demand, lid is now available for FreeBSD 7 and 8 on x86/IA-32, too.
2009-10-01: lid v2.0.2 released
The new version covers all 23 official EU languages and provides an increased detection rate for these languages as well as for character encodings.
