Lingua::Lid is both open source and free software, covered by an OSI approved open source license:
Lingua::Lid is free software. It may be used, redistributed and/or modified under the terms of the zlib license.
Lingua::Lid is an interface to the C/C++ library lid. This open source license covers only Lingua::Lid. The underlying C/C++ library lid is licensed under a commercial license.
